People do not know that 40% of cancer patients currently die of malnutrition and not cancer. Those who have cancer, something is imbalanced in their immune system: stress, toxin load or malnutrition. Cancer that also has high mortality rates although it seems harmless is oral cancer, for that we recommend you go with your Dr. Mexico.
The importance of nutrition in cancer patients is significant because in addition to the fact that cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide -each year 8.2 million people die-, today more than 32 million people live in a world of patients with cancer. The WHO says that the number of new cases, which each year add up to more than 14 million, will increase by 70% in the next 20 years.
There are more than 200 cancer types, and each one has different symptoms and unique forms of diagnosis and treatment. According to the British organization Cancer Research UK, the four most common types – lung, breast, colon, and prostate – are responsible for 4 out of 10 diagnoses.
What can you do to prevent cancer?
1. Kill cancer from hunger. Cancer feeds on sugar, and you can slow down the growth rate of cancer by decreasing your level of fuel intake available to tumor cells.
Include fruits, vegetables in your diet, but stop eating refined sugar.
2. Avoid malnutrition. Cancer generates chemicals that decrease appetite while the need for kilocalories increases. You can not fight an illness if you are malnourished. You need all the right nutrition to feed your immune system.
Chemotherapy and radiation kill cancer cells, and these therapies generate toxins against cells throughout your body. A well-nourished patient can protect healthy cells from the toxic effects of chemotherapy and radiation, making cancer cells more vulnerable to medicine. Your immune system is responsible for killing “the bad guys” that is; any cell that does not participate in the processes of your body, including cancer, yeast, bacteria and viruses, and dead cells.
Nutrition therapy is essential to avoid malnutrition. Eating correctly and taking the right supplements helps lower your stress level.
